What does being digital mean?

Before your arrival we will forward your online check-in form to complete.

During this process, you will need to upload your driver's licence or passport which must match the reservation name. At this time we a credit card pre-authorisation (a hold amount). When the check-in form is successfully completed, you will be sent you a summary of your submission. If you have not received this notification, please re-attempt to complete the check in form or contact us to assist you, as this must be completed for check-in to occur.

On the day of arrival, we will send your check-in details, this will include parking instructions, accessing the apartment, wi-fi details and more.

Prior to your departure, we’ll send you through our check-out instructions, so you’re kept informed every step of the way.

What amenities and services are available in the apartment?

Guests are provided with one complimentary set of linen/towels and some basic amenities upon check-in. Should you require any top-ups or replenishments during your stay, these are available for an additional cost.

Please note that routine cleaning is not included during your stay. However, if you would like to arrange a service clean, we’d be happy to assist—just reach out to schedule it for an added fee.

How do I connect with the property Host?

From the moment you book with us, you’ll be connected to your Host, who you’ll communicate with via the online booking portal, WhatsApp, text, email, or phone, whenever you need. Your Host is on the ground locally, working at curating the perfect stay for you, so please be mindful of the time-zone. Our Host and team are regularly at the property, but don’t have fixed on-site hours. To obtain your Host’s details, please see your property page or use the link below.

How do I book, modify or cancel a booking?

You will find our best rates and availability here. Just a few clicks and you’ll be done - no phone calls or emails are necessary.

Direct booking changes, including cancellations

When you book a non-refundable rate, this means that amendments or cancellations aren’t possible. When you book a flexible rate, changes can be made to your booking up to 7 days before the check-in date. Once the 7 days pass and you’re within the window of 7 days before check-in, amendments or cancellations are no longer possible.

Depending on the rate type selected, you can make changes directly through the Prickly Pear Stays website, here. You can also contact us directly via the chat box or via email at bookings@pricklypearstays.com.au.

Third-party booking changes, including cancellations.

For all third-party bookings (bookings not made directly through Prickly Pear Stays) cancellations must be made through the booked channel. Please check your confirmation email for details and the terms of your booking, and contact the channel directly.

Can I check in earlier or check out later?

Check-in is from 3PM and check out is before 10AM. If you require a late check-out or early check-in, please discuss your requirements directly with your Host, who will do their best to accommodate, wherever possible. Please note that requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

How do I know if the property has parking?

Most of our Prickly Pear Stays properties have parking; however, to confirm, please check the Prickly Pear Stays property page you will be staying at, to confirm if parking is available and how it works.

Question 7

Is luggage storage available?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, Prickly Pears Stays properties doesn’t have a storage facility on-site to accommodate luggage storage. Please liaise directly with your Host for the local luggage storage options.

Question 8

How do I confirm additional bedding?

Accepted Answer

Prickly Pear Stays doesn’t offer roll-away beds at any of our properties. To confirm if the Prickly Pear Property you are staying at offers a sofa bed, please refer to the amenities section on the property page or contact your Host directly.

If the property has a sofa/couch that you would like to use for additional bedding, please liaise directly with your Host to organise linen, as additional charges apply.

For cots and high chairs, please liaise directly with your Host as well, who will organise this for you. Additional bedding and amenities requests require more than 24 hours notice.

Can I bring my pet?

Although Prickly Pear Stays loves all creatures great and small, pets are unfortunately not permitted at our properties. If you have an assistance dog, or wish to discuss your personal circumstances with our team, please contact your property Host directly.

Question 10

Is smoking permitted?

Accepted Answer

All Prickly Pear Stays properties are 100% smoke-free, including inside apartments, on balconies, and in all public spaces. We please ask those who smoke to respectfully remain a minimum of 3 metres away from the outside of the building at all times. Failure to comply may result in a financial penalty. This policy also applies to e-cigarettes.
